This rule would further restrict legal immigration and could exacerbate workforce shortages, disrupt economic stability, and hinder growth in sectors heavily reliant on immigrant labor.
“Americans want fair, firm and compassionate immigration solutions that secure legal immigration and end illegal immigration. Rather than target people who are working legally, Congress and the president should work together to make sure that legal immigration is benefiting all Americans.”
