Ana Negoescu

Ana Negoescu leads strategic initiatives that expand economic mobility for immigrant workers by designing and scaling innovative upskilling solutions. She partners with employers across the country to strengthen inclusive talent pipelines and embed immigrant inclusion as a core workforce strategy. As the head of English Advance, the Forum’s industry-contextualized English-language learning initiative, she oversees programming that equips frontline immigrant workers with the communication and digital skills essential for advancement in a rapidly changing economy.

Before joining the Forum in 2015, Ana Negoescu directed the citizenship and civic engagement program at the Central American Resource Center (CARECEN) and held leadership roles in regional and national coalitions advancing immigrant rights and workforce inclusion. She has developed curriculum and authored publications on workplace ESOL, language access, citizenship, and services for newcomer immigrant youth in Washington, D.C. Her contributions to the region’s immigrant community were recognized with the Ejemplo a Seguir award from Univision Washington.

Originally from Bucharest, Romania, she holds a master’s degree in public policy from American University and a TESOL certification from Montgomery College.
