English Advance Marks 10 Years Today
Since this date in 2015, thousands of employees throughout the country have benefited from English language classes the Forum offers in partnership with businesses and community colleges.
Through English Advance, participating companies and colleges have joined the Forum to offer industry-contextualized English classes and digital literacy training to language-learner employees at more than 600 worksites.
Independent evaluations on English Advance have indicated that it helps businesses as participating workers stay on, advance into higher-skill roles, and build and expand their skills amid changing workforce needs.
“When employees improve their English skills, businesses and communities benefit,” said Jennie Murray, President and CEO of the Forum. “The Forum is grateful to be marking a decade of the business and education partnerships that enable this progress.
“We look forward to helping even more businesses and their employees in the next 10 years.”
